DESTRUCTIVE ATTITUDES


The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy but Jesus came to give an abundance of life. Ponder these attitudes that steal, kill and destroy peace, love, joy, health, success, eternal life and every good gift from God our Saviour.


FEAR

  • Fear causes a man to sin. Nehemiah 6: 13
  • Sin causes a man to f ear Genesis 3: 10
  • The thing that you fear will come on you. Job 3: 25
  • Fear brings bondage. Hebrews 2: 15
  • Fear has torment. 1 John 4: 18
  • The spirit of fear is not from God. 2 Timothy 1: 7
  • Fear is contagious. Deuteronomy 20: 8
  • Fear is a sign of little faith. Mathew 8: 26
  • Fear is a sign of no faith. Mark 4: 40
  • Fear will keep a person out of the kingdom of God. Rev. 21: 8

ANGER
  • Wrath is cruel and anger outrageous. Prov. 27: 4

PRIDE

ENVY
  • Envy slayeth the silly person. Job 5: 2

  • Envy comes from pride and doting about questions and strife of words. I Timothy 6: 4

LAZINESS
  • The way of the slothful man is as a hedge of thorns. Prov. 15: 19
  • Slothful work will be accompanied by waste. Prov. 18: 9
  • Slothfulness casteth into a deep sleep. Prov. 19: 15

WORLDLINESS
  • To be carnally minded is death. Rom. 8: 6
